This election is shaping up
to be the ultimate political showdown. The Deplorables have been clearly
defined. Hillary Clinton recently said, “You know, to just be grossly
generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the
basket of deplorables. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic,
Islamophobic — you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And
he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only
have 11,000 people — now 11 million. He tweets and retweets their offensive,
hateful, mean-spirited rhetoric. Now some of those folks — they are
irredeemable, but thankfully they are not America.”
But what about the
Cintonables? What do the Clintonables believe? They believe that Hillary
Clinton, Our Lady of Whitewater, can do no wrong. They believe that her
pathological lying is nothing to be concerned about. They believe that she has
been falsely accused of jeopardizing the nation’s security by using a private
email server. They believe, in spite of the disaster at Benghazi and other
foreign policy failures, that she was an excellent Secretary of State. Finally,
they believe that she is fit for office and that she will be a fine President.
